Day 44 - Easy snow, Easy Go

We awoke this morning to a winter wonderland. It was typical NC snow, very fluffy and powdery due to lots of warm air still around. The first pic was taken about 10am. The next pic was taken at 5pm. That too is typical of NC. Easy come, easy go.

Day 25 - Homemade Armor

No, it's not a scene involving the Lost Boys from the movie Hook. This is my youngest son, reluctantly showing off his latest creation. He is in the process of creating his own suit of armor constructed out of gourds. You can't tell from this photo, but you can actually raise and lower the visor.

Day 11 - Like Pulling Teeth

Well, not only like, but exactly pulling teeth. Saturday, Noah kicked out one of Joshua's loose teeth. Today, Joshua went to the dentist to have these two pulled because the permanent teeth under were completely out and had these two wedged in. Looking at the lack of roots (absolutely NONE!), you'd think Noah could have kicked those out as well. At the very least we should have received a discount. Oh well.
